 Hello,
my name is Collin. I am 11 years old and I play the mandolin.

Thile is my hero in music.
Someday I would love to meet him. I like bluegrass music
because I know how to play it. Some of my favorite songs are
The Fox, This Side, Scotch and Chocolate, The Boy Who Wouldn't Hoe Corn
and Shady Grove. Those are some tunes that I have learned how
to play and they are fun. I started on the fiddle but then my
dad got me a great Weber Bitterroot mandolin and so I began
playing
that. I like to go to bluegrass festivals so I can listen to
the music. The most important thing with music is to
practice, that's how you get better. |
